Fluffy has become a moth!

Fluffy has finally become an adult!
It took him about 2 weeks to grow from a caterpillar into a moth. Rich's guess was correct. Fluffy is a moth instead of a butterfly.

    1. Hi Arianni,

I do agreed with Ms Zhou that it may be really difficult to find out the type of moth species!
Now, you understand that the job of a entomologist ( scientists who study insects) is not easy!

Interestingly, do you know that there are so many species of moth which has not been identified yet? In other words, some species of moth were NOT given a name yet! If P4/7's class moth is unidentified, your class could be the first one to name it! What would your class name it as? Adult fluffy?

  3. Hi Arianni, that is a good question. There are too many species of moths and I have yet to match Fluffy to any of the species. The list is too long! Would you like to give it a try? =)

    6. Hi P4/7 Pupils,

Fluffy belongs to the Earth :) Unless one of you gave birth to Fluffy.

Anyway, going back to Arianni's question, have you found out which types of moth species Fluffy belongs to?
